History
The Wanderers Rock ‘n’ Roll Car Club is made up of people who enjoy listening, dressing or dancing to 50’s & 60’s style Rock ‘n’ Roll music. The club further promotes the social aspect of that interest by extending its membership to people who own or admire Australian, American or European 50’s & 60’s model motor cars. Also vehicles that are deemed to be Hot Rods, Custom, Muscle, or Classic cars of any vintage. The Wanderers Rock ‘N’ Roll Car Club was founded by Peter Panagaris on the 22nd of September 2004, and held their inaugural meeting on the 1st of November 2004. Peter saw the need for this sort of club as a Rock ‘n’ Roll music and car enthusiast, whose main aim was to promote Rock ‘n’ Roll dancing and cars as stated to the club members and public in general.

You don’t have to be a good dancer, or dance at all, to become a member. The club promotes dance lessons with accredited dancing instructors several nights per week at different locations around Adelaide and suburbs. If you enjoy the music, and would like to be a part of the nostalgia scene, if you want information on what’s happening around South Australia and interstate in the way of dances and events, then joining, the Wanderers Rock ‘n’ Roll Car Club may be the right decision for you.

Club Meetings
The club meets on the first Wednesday of every month at Roulettes Tavern, Kings Road, Parafield. Times are 6pm for a meal, 7pm for the meeting and 8pm for socialising and dancing. The Executive Committee meet on the second Wednesday of each month at Roulettes Tavern or at a place and time to be determined by the President.
